Description   Komperdell Contour Titanal Poles The Vario Mechanism allows Komperdell poles to be converted into a summer or winter pole or to adjust to various snow conditions The Duolock system features two expanders which expand when twisting the pole.  Locks with a single turn and is more secure than most conventional systems.  When locked with the same torque, Duolock expanders can take up to 80% more weight than Komperdell's conventional system. Titanal.HF Alloy - Titanal.hf is also used in space industry – especially for parts exposed to excessive use. Titanal.hf has properties which are most important for the sporting goods industry: Highest density at comparably low weight.   Titanal.hf is an aluminum alloy, class 7XXX and is much better than conventional alloys.
